The statistical analysis includes data preprocessing (data cleaning, imputation, metabolism indicator calculation, logarithmic transformation, and outlier analysis), descriptive statistics, univariate statistics (ANOVA or equivalent), and multivariate statistics (principal component analysis (PCA), partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLSDA), and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA)). Graphical visualizations best suited to the project are produced, including group-based concentration boxplots as well as scatter plots and heatmaps for the multivariate analyses. Additional analyses like correlation analysis, time courses, or biomarker identification can be performed upon request for each project.
